Main Objectives

  1. Integrate health and spatial planning research
    To support evidence-based studies examining the relationships between urban environments, community design, and health outcomes.

     
  2. Advance the implementation of healthy and age-friendly policies
    To assist governments in establishing institutional frameworks, tools, and indicators for healthy cities and age-friendly environments.

     
  3. Strengthen health resilience under climate change
    To examine the impacts of extreme climate risks on population health and to propose adaptive strategies.

     
  4. Cultivate interdisciplinary talent in healthy city research and practice
    To build collaborative platforms connecting students, faculty, professionals, and international networks, fostering professional development and practical exchange.

     
  5. Serve as Taiwan’s hub and an international node for healthy city research
    To promote transnational research and policy exchange through collaboration with the World Health Organization (WHO), international universities, and research institutions.
