Professor Hu Shu-Chen has retired and has taken up a new position as Dean of the College of Medicine and Health at Asia University. Effective August 2025, Professor Chao Tzu-Yuan will assume the position of Director of the Healthy City Research Center.

Guided by the principles of “people-centered thinking, science-based approaches, interdisciplinary collaboration, and locally grounded action,” the new Director will continue to advance research and practice on healthy cities. The Center will strengthen its work through scientific research, public education, data platform development, and policy engagement, supporting both central and local governments in enhancing urban health governance and improving the health resilience of socially vulnerable populations.
