
The Healthy City Research Center of National Cheng Kung University (NCKU) has officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Research and Development Center for Lifestyle Innovation at the University of Tsukuba, marking an important milestone in strengthening international academic collaboration.
The partnership was established with the participation of Center Director Yoshimoto and Deputy Director Fujita of the Research and Development Center for Lifestyle Innovation at the University of Tsukuba. Through this MOU, both institutions reaffirm their commitment to deepening international engagement and expanding collaborative research in the fields of healthy cities, lifestyle innovation, and interdisciplinary studies.
Under the agreement, the two centers will promote joint research projects, academic exchanges, and mutual visits by researchers and students, as well as knowledge sharing across disciplines related to urban health, governance, and lifestyle innovation.
The NCKU Healthy City Research Center emphasized that this MOU represents a key step in its ongoing internationalization strategy. By integrating international research expertise with local empirical experience, the Center aims to strengthen scientific research, policy engagement, and practical applications, contributing to more inclusive, resilient, and sustainable healthy cities.
